We hired Diamond Decks to install a fibreglass pool, stone patio around the pool and a composite deck. Trevor did a design of what our backyard could look like. The project crew was so polite and kept the job-site clean which was very important for our 2 young kids and dog. Trevor helped us understand all the pool equipment and closed the pool for us. What can I say?  Diamond Decks did such a terrific job of installing my new side yard and back deck - and I really cannot pinpoint anything that could have been done better.  The crews were always early, respectful, hardworking, detail-oriented and very professional.  As a woman, I found owner Trevor and his team to be high integrity and above board in all manner.  They truly care about the quality of their work and the service they provide their clients.  I now have a side yard and deck that I look forward to enjoying in the many years to come. We had a wonderful experience with Trevor and his team. We had a large project involving replacing a two level deck as well as a stone walkway, steps and patio. We wanted to hire a company that was capable of doing both the deck and the landscaping. We found two local companies that both had excellent reviews and were Trex certified dealers. The first company came out and said they needed to have a permit company take measurements before the could even give a quote. The person who met with us was obviously not going to be doing the work.  This meant we needed to pay an outside company before we could even get a quote! We needed a permit anyways and wanted two quotes for our project,  so we consented. Trevor met with us the following week and the difference was night and day. He was going to be the one leading his crew so knew what he was doing.  He was able to take measurements himself and give us a quote on the spot. The quote was less than the other company, but that's not the reason we hired Diamond Decks. It was that Trevor was knowledgeable and professional. There were issues with the drawing for the permit from the other company that Trevor recognized and explained. He had to work with our Township to amend the permit to ensure it met the standards of Diamond Decks and our Township. They were not going to approve the permit from the other company due to poor design. Throughout the whole process, Trevor showed patience and professionalism. He was also very helpful during the design process and went above and beyond. We had decided on the main deck style and colour, but Trevor made helpful suggestions regarding the railing, the privacy screen, the width of the steps, the border of the walkway etc. He made sure everything tied together beautifully. He met us at Carr Landscaping depot so we could look at stone options for the landscaping. We opted to do manufactured stone for the patio and walkway to tie in with our pool landscaping.  Trevor brought samples for us to see. Then, we decided we wanted natural stone steps, Trevor even arranged to have samples of those brought out so we could see how they looked with our project. That is the difference between an average company and an exceptional one! We are so happy with the finished project and it has turned our backyard Into a showpiece! Trevor and his team were incredible hardworking. They did much of the work through the winter even though it was a cold and snowy one, to ensure out project was competed in the spring.
